Hungry?

If you would like to see another quilt group's show-and-tell, click here. These are from my friend Nan's group. She lives in Washington, and I am hoping we can schedule her for a trunk show next year.

Remaining Show and Tell from August!

Can Blanche Young pick colors or what!

This log cabin watermelon was a block of the month last year. I think it turned out so lovely.

The heavily embroidered quilt above won some serious love at the county fair, and its lovely creator also made the pumpkin below.

I really liked the colors in this sampler.

PS

My favorite quote from our meeting this month was:

"I haven't done a damn thing all year."

Thanks. My children make me feel that way all the time.

August Show n Tell

I'm just going to post a little over half of this months show and tell now. Check back soon for the rest! Feel free to leave comments about your quilt so visitors can learn more about them if you like. Thanks!

Above is our block of the month quilt this year, a Christmas sampler quilt.

The previous two pictures represent a reversible runner which was Christmas on the front and Halloween on the back.

This sleigh ride panel above is embroidered.

Fair and Fabulous Fabric

So I was meandering around through various people's links and found this post about some fantastic fabric. Check it out if you love loud colors and florals.

I'd also like to give my compliments to the ladies whose quilts I saw at the county fair. You know who you are. There was a particularly lovely rendering of Snow White that I suspect we will be seeing at Peach Days. Well done one and all.

Tumbling blocks

If you would like the instructions Sariah handed out for the tumbling blocks quilt earlier in the year, click here. I finally finished mine and would love if people would send pictures of their progress to me at jbramall at yahoo dot com. Then I can post the pictures for you to share!
